《中国人口和就业统计年鉴—2009》是一部以全面反映我国人口和就业状况为主的资料性年刊，收集了全国和各省、自治区、直辖市人口就业统计的主要数据，同时附录了世界部分国家和地区的相关数据。年鉴内容分为八部分：综合数据、2008年全国人口变动情况抽样调查数据、2008年劳动力抽样调查主要数据、2008年城镇单位就业人员统计数据、2008年全国户籍统计人口数据、2008年全国计划生育统计人口数据、世界部分国家及地区人口和就业统计数据、2008年人口变动和劳动力调查制度说明及主要统计指标解释。
