蔡昉，汉族，现任中国社会科学院副院长、党组成员，中国社会科学院学部委员、学部主席团成员 ，第十二届全国人民代表大会常务委员会委员、农业与农村委员会委员。兼任国家“十三五”规划专家委员会委员，《劳动经济研究》主编。主要研究领域包括：农村经济理论与政策、劳动经济学、人口经济学、中国经济改革、经济增长、收入分配和贫困等。著有《中国经济》、《中国劳动力市场的发育与转型》等，主编《中国人口与劳动问题报告》系列专著。近年获张培刚发展经济学很好成果奖、中国软科学奖、中国发展百人奖、中华人口奖、孙冶方经济科学奖和国家出版图书奖等。
