The exhibition German Impressionist Landscape Painting:Liebermann-Corinth-Slevogt is risky. Not in the native country of the painters, where the three masters of German Impressionism are well known and much loved. For the German venue, it is a first concentrated look at the genre of landscapes which will provide new and deeper understanding of the oeuvre of these masters and surely constitute a refreshing and exhilarating artistic experience.
