Sunzi and Sun Bin lived more than 160 years apart, the former about 2,500 years ago during what is known as the Spring and Autumn Period in Chinese history when the country was beginning its transition from a slave-owning society to feudalism,and the latter during the Period of the Warring States, 160 years later, when feudalism had firmly set in.
