《昭明文选》是我国现存的较早的一部诗文总集，是一部殿堂级的中国古典诗文，由南朝梁武帝的长子萧统组织文人编选。这部诗文集包括了先秦至南朝梁代的重要文学作品，选材严谨，被视为文学的教科书。我国很多古典名著都被译成多种语言，可供海内外广大读者研读并传承中华民族光辉遗产，而《昭明文选》由于文体多样，注重辞藻，至今译本寥寥。本著作节选了《昭明文选》的一部分诗歌，给出原文，并翻译成英文，形成中英对照。同时，简要介绍了作者生平、对作品进行赏析。希望这本译著能为选学的传播和复兴尽一份绵薄之力。
