由石磊、曹波和吉志强共同主编、连云港经济技术开发区志编纂委员会编写的《连云港经济技术开发区志（精）》为连云港经济技术开发区编纂委员会编修的首部开发区志，采用中篇结构，编、章、节、目、子目体式，除总述、大事记、附录外，共设14篇、74章、266节。上限为1984年开发区建区，下限断至2011年。连云港开发区位于连云港市东部城区，为国务院1984年批准设立的国家级经济技术开发区。该志系统记述了1984年建区后大开发、大建设、大发展的历史进程，充分展示了28年间经济、政治、文化、社会等领域取得的辉煌成就，既有宏观鸟瞰，也有微观透视；既有历史事件，也有突出人物，时代特色和地域特色鲜明，是一部集权威性、史料性、实用性于一体的综合性文献。该志可为各级领导从开发区实际出发科学决策、科学管理提供历史借鉴和现实依据，也可为社会各界了解连云港经济技术开发区的发展变迁提供翔实资料和可靠数据，具有存史、资政、育人之功效。
