杨凤城，现为中国人民大学马克思主义学院党委书记、历史与理论研究院执行院长、教授、博士生导师，兼任中国党史人物研究会副会长、中国党史学会高校专业委员会会长、中华人民共和国史学会高等院校教学研究专业理事会会长、北京市党史学会会长。主要研究领域为党史党建、马克思主义中国化等。先后主持多个国家社科基金、哲学社会科学基金、北京市哲学社会科学基金项目。在《党史研究》《当代中国史研究》以及《光明日报》等报刊发表论文百余篇。曾获得宝钢很好教师奖、新世纪很好人才、北京市很好教师等荣誉。
