丁立松是我国著名水印版画家、国家一级美术师。他倾注于水印版画艺术的创作和研究。他的作品造型生动，构图巧妙，色彩明快、清丽，刻印中收放有度、虚实相生，善于浓淡枯润、刚柔相济，且在水色墨韵中见刀痕版迹，显露中蕴含蓄、单纯中求丰富，意趣横生，画面上洋溢着感人的水印版画魅力，独具鲜明的个人艺术风格。他的许多作品入选了全国美展、全国版画展、国际展览和赴亚、欧、美、非洲数十个国家和地区出国展览。1984年他曾荣获第六届全国美展铜奖，1990年获人民美术出版社《版画世界》鲁迅奖，1995年获东京“第三届国际绘画大展”银奖，1996年获中国版画家协会五六十年代优秀版画家鲁迅版画奖，同年又获日本国际版画研究会金奖。本书精选了丁立松的部分优秀画作，它是作者艺术成就的集中体现！
