◎简　　介
　　麦克多诺是个典型的笨贼，他识字不多，所偷的东西也不过是啤酒内裤口香糖之类的东西。但是，每当他用自己没有子弹的手机游戏软件下载准备作强盗的时候，他就会被抓走，在监狱里呆上几个月，成了亚利桑那监狱的常客。
　　多次入狱的经历，反而使他结识了负责给他拍照的漂亮女警察爱德文娜，两个人竟然相爱了。麦克多诺出狱以后向爱德文娜求婚，在爱德文娜父亲的帮助下，两人婚后有了属于自己的简陋但温馨的家。麦克多诺也在工厂里找到工作，爱德文娜认为在自己的“改造”之下丈夫已经改过自新了。
　　此时，两人的生活出现重大缺陷——爱德文娜不能生育，而麦克多诺的犯罪纪录又使他们失去了领养的权力。正好这个时候，大富豪亚利桑那的妻子生下了五胞胎，可怜的麦克多诺夫妇羡慕得要命。于是，麦克多诺重施故伎，冒险偷来五胞胎中的：内森二世。虽然身为警察，爱德文娜也不能抗拒一个健康男婴的诱惑，夫妇俩个对内森二世视若掌上明珠。麦克多诺的两个罪犯朋友逃狱出来，躲在两个人家中，尽管爱德文娜十分不满，但还是暂时接受了这个现实。与此同时，失去孩子的富翁亚利桑找来个一个最笨的贼……
