◎简　　介
　　为了给同事们一个好印象，马丁医生（奥兰多·布鲁姆 Orlando Bloom 饰）一直在做着不懈的努力，可是天不遂人愿，即便如此，马丁依然没有获得他想要的成功和信任。十八岁的少女戴安妮（莱莉·科奥 Riley Keough 饰）因为肾病被转入了马丁所在的医院，马丁顺理成章的成为了她的主治医生。
　　在马丁的精心照料下，戴安妮的病情逐渐好转，可也就是在此过程中，马丁对善良美丽的戴安妮产生了超越了医患关系的复杂感情。为了能将戴安妮更久的留在身边，马丁偷偷篡改了她的药方，使得戴安妮的病情加重。一次偶然中，医护员吉米（迈克尔·佩纳 Michael Pena 饰）发现了马丁的秘密，并非善类的吉米以此开始了对马丁的敲诈。
