◎简　　介　

　　故事开始于1964年，詹姆斯（艾米·汉莫 Armie Hammer 饰）是一名艺术评论家，一天，他来到了著名艺术家贾科梅蒂（杰弗里·拉什 Geoffrey Rush 饰）正在巴黎进行的个人展览，让詹姆斯没有想到的是，自己竟然有幸遇到了贾科梅蒂本人，不仅如此，贾科梅蒂还要请他前往自己的画室，做他的模特。
　　就这样，詹姆斯开始了和这位传奇艺术家的零距离接触。在拥挤而又狭窄的画室里，詹姆斯亲眼目睹了过人的天赋带给贾科梅蒂的预约以及痛苦。在画詹姆斯的肖像画时，贾科梅蒂反复撕毁了自己已经完成的画作，创作似乎陷入了瓶颈之中，最终，他能否如期完成肖像画呢？
