本次修订在课时划分、训练内容和课时配套上更清晰、更到位。每个模块由五课时作业和Module Review构成。第一、二课时聚焦Unit 1听说课，在夯实基础知识的同时，侧重会话技能练习、运用和拓展。第三、四课时聚焦Unit 2读写课，关注单元基础知识和技能，侧重话题之下的拓展阅读和微写作训练。第五课时聚焦Unit 3，结合模块任务，侧重核心语言项目复习和语法运用，开展过程性写作训练，引导学生从词到句到篇进行写作过程架构，逐步提高学生写作表达能力。多角度复习模块语言项目和语法知识，挖掘话题文化内涵。Module Review为模块复习和话题拓展的语言综合训练。
