王猛,中国劳动关系学院,外语教学部。研究方向:二语习得。12年的一线教师,擅长从学生的需求实际出发,有计划地培养和训练学生的英语词汇能力。注重教学创新,致力于摆脱传统语言教学中“重教轻学”的一些“务虚”教学实践,在听、说、读和写的教学惯例中体现语言的“功能性”和“信息性”以获取语言教学的“务实”性。
研究形成性词汇能力培养模式,改善了传统英语语言教学在词汇教学实践方面的效果不理想的情况。曾主编的《大学英语拓展阅读教程》教材和《商务英语》教材,发表多篇论文,在科研方面致力于寻找研究的新突破口,探究实用英语学术词汇的新领域,拓展英语语言教学的新功能。
《英语词汇的派生、语境和层次》属于英语词汇学习、记忆和研究用书。从语境、层次和构词三个角度来帮助英语学习或研究者了解英语单词的由来、使用和常见语境。语境方面主要以报刊文章为主,利用语料库软件认真筛选精彩预料;层次方面结构美国常用词汇、中国英语各层次词汇大纲和数以万计的报刊文章使用词汇为参考;构词是本书内容中大的特色,本书所涵盖的构词语素为活跃的语素,解释强,构词能力强,对英语词汇学习会产生很大的影响。
