当前，在中西方文化交流日益繁盛以及“文化自信”和“一带一路”的背景之下，国内外学者对中国古诗词的翻译和研究方兴未艾。本书是《唐代五绝品读与英译研究及韵体英译探索》(上、下卷)中相关内容的延伸(可以算作其“姊妹篇”)，重点对101首唐代五绝进行韵译方面的探索，并对五绝原诗及其译诗加注，以方便读者理解。本书对中国传统文化的国际传播具有现实意义。
