《泛读教程》是《新视野大学英语》(第二版)系列教材之一，是根据《大学英语课程教学要求》(简称《课程要求》)的精神新编写的教材。
《泛读教程》分为1-4级，达到《课程要求》规定的一般要求层次的具体要求。
胡开宝、吴勇主编的《新视野大学英语(泛读教程2第2版十二五普通高等教育本科国家级规划教材)》包括10个单元，供一个学期使用。每单元包括三篇文章(长度控制在700-900词左右)，每篇文章均配有相关练习，具体有：
