This is a really fabulous book, and if you have even the faintest recollection of the late 1970's/early 1980's (or for that matter even a passing interest in those decades).
Elmor manages to spark a thousand memories - in the same way that a favourite smell from childhood, or a song from adolescence can - whilst writing a gripping tale of a woman's recollections of her coming of age.
This book is funny and insightful, at times disturbing and heartbreaking. It resonates on so many levels.
This new Author has created fantastic, believable characters, an always engaging plot with a twist that you won't see coming, but that will stay with you long after you've turned the last page.
