The animal friends play traditional games like their parents used to play. Each book tells the story of a game. We share the fun, read the words, colour the pictures. We will surely want to play the games with our friends, too, in the playground or at home.
The animals gather by the stream. "I'm stronger than you," boasts Bear. "And I've got more friends." 'Tm stronger than you," boasts Gorilla. "And I'm cleverer." "We'll soon find out who is right," says Bear. "Let's play Tug of War. I'll pick one team." "And I'II choose the other," says Gorilla. The two teams grab tight hold of a long rope. take a deep breath and begin to pull. Since neither team is able to win. Gorilla and Bear shake hands. The animals have so much fun. that they carry on playing Tug of War all day long. The strongest don't always win, as we will see.
