《学英语 讲中国故事》是一套专门针对青少年的阅读兴趣和阅读能力编写的英语读物，本丛书由传统节日篇、传统艺术篇、民间故事篇、成语故事篇、名胜古迹篇、饮食文化篇、人物故事篇、科技成就篇八个分册构成，呈现了120万字的英语阅读材料,并配套数字资源。由著名英语教育专家程晓堂教授和张祖春教授担纲丛书总主编，从培育和践行社会主义核心价值观及新课标培养学生核心素养的要求出发，围绕“用英语讲中国故事”这个主题，组织43余位英语教授，特、高级教师分类别编写以中华优秀传统文化为背景的英语短文，将弘扬中华优秀传统文化和学习英语相结合。丛书旨在坚定青少年文化自信，培养学生的英语学科核心素养，实现“具备一定的跨文化沟通和传播中华文化能力”的文化意识目标，为青少年对外讲好中国故事，展现真实、立体、全面的中国奠定坚实的基础。
