IB I SEE的IB是靠前文凭组织的缩写，I代表读者，SEE代表总结、例题和习题，这也是本书每个单元的主要模块。本书由IB生物考官（assistant examiner）执笔，专为IBDP项目11和12年级选修生物SL（standard level）和HL（higher level）的学生精心编写。以新大纲和新版本教材为依据，以章节为编写单元，内容涵盖了从靠前~11章的核心与高水平（core&AHL）课程内容，逐条解读考纲内容，章后均配有紧密围绕IB考试的模拟考题，书后配有每题的详细解答。可以作为学生学习过程中的一课一练，也可以作为考前复习参考。旨在帮助学生更好地适应新大纲的学习，把握章节的重点和难点，轻松应对优选统考。
