中国正在全面推进依法治国。卓泽渊著的《中国的法治之路(英文版)(精)》对从古以来中国的法律发展做简要回顾，尤其是对新中国成立以来的法制建设和法治发展进行较为深入的学理阐释与理论解析。旨在通过对中国法治发展的历程进行历史和学理总结，向国内外读者介绍，使之从法治的视角读懂中国。

卓泽渊，中共中央党校教授，法学理论博士研究生导师，中国法学会常务理事，中国行为法学会副会长，中国法理学会副会长。1963年生于重庆市长寿县；1980年至1984年在西南政法大学法律系学习，毕业后留校任教；1987年至1990年在西南政法大学法理学专业攻读硕士学位，毕业后再度留校任教。1991年晋升讲师，1993年破格晋升副教授，1995年破格晋升教授。2000年6月在中国社会科学院研究生院获得法学理论博士学位。1999年12月至2003年9月任西南政法大学副校长。2003年8月调中共中央党校工作。先后入选中国“百千万人才工程”国家级人选，全国宣传文化系统“四个一批”人才，中国第二届十大杰出中青年法学家，中国哲学社会科学首届领军人才；获得国务院政府津贴以及司法部优秀教师奖和法学教育优秀育人奖，重庆市九五立功奖章，重庆市五四青年奖章。先后出版有《法律价值》、《法的价值论》、《法的价值总论》、《法治泛论》、《法政治学》、《法政治学研究》和《法治国家》等学术著作；总主编10卷本《法学论点要览》丛书，主编有高等学校法学教材的《法学导论》、《法理学》等，副主编《马克思主义法学新探》、《社会主义市场经济法律问题研究》等。
