由责任编辑刘明富为代表的《岳池年鉴》编纂委员会编纂的《岳池年鉴（2015）（精）》是全面反映岳池县各方面情况的年度综合性年鉴。全书系统、翔实、客观地记载了岳池县2014年度政治、经济、文化、社会生活等方面的重大事项和基本情况，以及岳池人民在推进现代化建设中取得的新成就、新经验和需要解决的新问题；反映了新时期的岳池精神，具有一定的年度特色和地方特色，体现了年鉴的科学性和实用性；为各界人士认识、了解和投资岳池县提供了一部信息量大、准确度高的地情资料，为各级领导决策提供了参考依据，为开展对外交往、招商引资以及全民创业提供了窗口和桥梁。
