At the beginning of 2004 Rainer Fetting, who is based in Berlin, spent three months in Los Angeles. All the 25 pictures he produced over this period are collected in this book, together with 17 works on paper. Fetting shows minute surfers at the mercy of the natural force that is the sea, as well as the individual surfer conquering the elements. Here, the might of the surf is transformed into an aesthetic experience.
