该书共有184个练习题，每个练习题与《剑桥初级英语语法》中某一部分相关。可以在每页的右上角找到《剑桥初级英语语法》的单元号。如果没有《剑桥初级英语语法》一书也可使用该书，因为所有的答案与参考答案已在“答案”部分(第95至106页)给出。但是，如果你想看有关语法点的解释，那么就需要在《剑桥初级英语语法》一书中查一下。

该书所含的语法点并不是以难易程度排列的，所以你可以直接跳到最需要练习之处。几个练习均与同一个语法点相关时，较容易的排在前面。因此顺着练习顺序往下做是个好办法。
