《80天环游世界》是法国著名作家“科幻小说之父”儒勒·凡尔纳的作品，是其代表作之一。小说叙述了英国人福格先生与朋友打赌，能在80天内环游地球一周回到伦敦。虽克服种种困难，但到伦敦却迟了五分钟，自以为失败，却因他自西向东绕地球一周，正好节约了一天时间而意外获得胜利。

JULES VERNE，19世纪法国科幻小说家，被誉为“科幻小说之父”。他最初学法律，1863年出版了他的第一部小说《气球上的五星期》，获得成功，从此一发不可收拾。凡尔纳总共创作了六十多部长篇小说和几个短篇小说集，还有几十个剧本，和其它各类作品。主要作品有《海底两万里》、《八十天环游地球》、《从地球到月球》、《神秘岛》、《格兰特船长的儿女》、《地心游记》等。
