◎简　　介

O'Byrne）分了手，靠一份女服务员的工作维持生计。她一方面想维持自己的社会地位，另一方面又渴望独立和自由。在为生活奔忙的同时，她还要想尽一切办法赢得女儿Veda（Evan Rachel Wood）的爱与尊重。Guy Pearce扮演Mildred的情人，一个富有的花花公子。James LeGros扮演Bert以前的商业伙伴。Melissa Leo扮演Mildred的好友。Morgan Turner扮演童年时的Vada。
