　　就在爱丽丝陷入窘境之时，一只神秘的黄铜茶壶的出现彻底改变了她和约翰的生活，他们发现，这只茶壶能将两人的痛苦转化为源源不断的钞票。想要感到痛苦还不简单，就这样，爱丽丝和约翰在变身富翁之时亦开始了漫漫“求苦”之旅，可是随着时间的推移，两人发现，事件的发展逐渐脱离了他们的掌控。
