　　在一个平凡的小镇，13岁小女孩迪克茜（Paula Ribó 配音）经历着无味晦暗的童年。她的父亲菲尔经营一家殡仪馆，并且无比热爱这份工作，此举直接导致了父母婚姻破裂。随父亲生活的迪克茜自然免不了生活在死亡的阴影下，她的打扮和举止怪异，不仅没有朋友，还时常受到欺负，也是令校长颇为头疼的人物。一次意外，令迪克茜遽然离世，变成了形容枯槁的僵尸。在死亡之国，她邂逅了埃及僵尸伊希丝（Núria Trifol 配音）。为了回到本来的世界，她不得不潜入黑暗的大森林。而那里，黑暗女巫露莎和她的怪物军团正虎视眈眈觊觎着这片大地。
