◎简　　介

　　居住在纽约的摩根夫妇生活优渥，丈夫保罗（休·格兰特 Hugh Grant 饰）在司法界声名远播，妻子梅莉（莎拉·杰茜卡·帕克 Sarah Jessica Parker 饰）则是房地产界的精英女强人。事业上的卓越成就无法弥合夫妇俩日渐凸现的情感矛盾，保罗的外遇更致使两人长期分居，婚姻濒临崩溃。在分居后的第三个月，保罗主动约出妻子，希望与之重归于好。晚餐过后，摩根夫妇在瓢泼大雨中偶然目睹一桩杀人案，他们清楚看到凶手（麦克·凯利 Michael Kelly 饰）的长相，而自己的容貌也被凶手尽收眼底。
