◎简　　介　

　　多年前，影片主人公弗兰克的母亲惨死于一场车祸，尽管母亲生前粗暴的虐待他，还以卖身为生，但弗兰克仍然想念她，弗兰克不想让母亲离开自己，甚至希望她能改过自新，而弗兰克在变态心理的唆使下，将杀人视作自己的发泄途径。
　　于是，很多无辜的女性成了这个恶魔的猎物，弗兰克剥下她们的头皮，像假发一般戴在公寓里摆放的服装模特的头上，如数家珍的陈列起来。
　　一次在公园里，弗兰克邂逅了摄影师安娜，弗兰克开始追求安娜，两人很快坠入爱河。
　　单纯的安娜更本没察觉到弗兰克残暴的罪行，在所难免成为下一个牺牲品……
　　幕后花絮：
　　·片尾出现的无头尸体是1980年《13号星期五》中杰森的母亲帕默的尸体。
　　·本片的同名主题歌在片中并未出现，而是出现在1983年的《闪电舞》中。
　　·本片导演威廉·拉斯蒂格（William Lustig）和弗兰克的扮演者乔·斯皮内尔（Joe Spinell）称影片拍摄并未得到纽约当地的允许，很多场景都是趁人不备时快速拍摄的，而且在警察到来前必须尽快撤离。
　　·达里亚·尼古洛蒂（Daria Nicolodi）曾是扮演安娜的最初人选，但她当时正在意大利拍片，无法出演本片。
　　·影片开始沙滩上的场景是从1975年《大白鲨》的片头获得灵感。
　　·为了尽量降低影片的拍摄成本，片中很多受害者和小角色是由手机游戏软件下载片女演员扮演，其中包括至今仍活跃在 界的Gail Lawrence。
