简　　介  

　　保罗纽曼主演的成名作，是美国拳王洛基卡斯安诺的传记电影，也是一流的拳击动作片，主人翁出身自纽约的一贫穷家庭，父亲曾梦想成为职业拳手而不可得，过著庸庸碌碌的生活。他对终日打架生事的儿子洛基完全不抱希望，父子之间甚至陷入一种互相憎恨的死结之中。不料洛基在军中为长官赏识，鼓励他往职业拳坛发展，最后浪子回头成为拳王，也解开了与父亲之间的心结，今天看来本片的叙事手法只算中规中矩，但导演罗伯特．怀斯刻画主角的逆叛性格相当成功。处理节奏亦爽朗轻快，加上保罗．纽曼具有朝气的演出，在四十年看来仍颇有味道。
