简　　介  

　　时代剧演员银四郎（风间杜夫 饰）是当时风靡万千观众的大明星，他英俊潇洒，风流倜傥，并且为人高傲。为了搏求上位，他劝说业已怀孕女友小夏（松坂庆子 饰）委身其貌不扬但为人善良的龙套小演员安次（平井满 饰），自己则转而追求电影巨鳄的女儿朋子（高见知佳 饰）。小夏出现妊娠中毒症状，为保母子平安，安次不惜接收各种危险动作的拍摄，以赚钱购买营养品。经过一段时间相处，小夏的天平渐渐向安次倾斜。而银四郎则正面临事业的最大困境……
　　本片根据第85回直木奖同名获奖小说改编，并荣获1983年日本学院奖最佳女主角（松坂庆子）、最佳男主角（平井满）、最佳导演、最佳影片、最佳配乐、最佳剧本、最佳男配角（风间杜夫）以及最佳新人（平井满）等八项大奖。
