简　　介  

　　高超的技艺和天赋曾为骑师本?科恩（科特?拉塞尔）赢来无数奖杯和荣耀，然而随着岁月流逝，他慢慢地被层出不穷的新人抛在身后，成了等待被“处理的垃圾”。与他命运相同的还有老马桑娅，后者曾作为一匹前途无量的种子选手为主人赢得过无数场比赛，但因运动强度过大在某次比赛中折断后腿后，它在主人眼中也就成了“废物”。后来，桑娅被主人当作遣散费送给了本?科恩。
　　本?科恩的沮丧被他的女儿凯尔（达柯塔?芬妮）尽收眼底，为了帮助爸爸和桑娅重拾自信，她制定了详细的计划，首先，她说服本?科恩同她一起精心照料桑娅，桑娅一点点恢复健康重新站立起来时，她又想方设法使本?科恩接下看似不可能完成的任务——赢得“育马者杯经典大赛”。
