简　　介  
　　李志超（周润发 饰）个性沉着稳重，是可以信任的所在，周强（狄龙 饰）行事向来风风火火，对罪犯毫不留情，然而，个性上的截然相反并没能阻止两人成为相互信赖的同时兼好友。多年以前，正是周强的精明强干令大毒枭姚达（徐少强 饰）锒铛入狱，如今，姚达即将出狱，而周强的搭档却死于非命，这两件事情的发生令人不得不怀疑其中必有关联。在姚达的精心策划之下，悲愤的周强惨遭陷害受到了警局的处分，不仅如此，他的性命还时时遭受着姚达所派出的冷酷杀手的威胁，与此同时，李志超遇见了名为潘妮（恬妞 饰）的美丽女子，此人恰恰正是姚达的情人。在黑暗笼罩的天空之下，一场正义与邪恶的恶战一触即发。
