SYNOPSIS 　　Kim Young-hu is a student taking a semester off. He works as a security guard at a construction site. He visits his friend who's studying to become a medical doctor and there he meets a pickpocket. The pickpocket makes fun of Young-hu and even plays jokes on him. He is hypnotized into becoming a plaything for a leisurely rich woman but soon wakes up and escapes. He marries the pickpocket but on the day of their wedding, she is dragged away by a group of hoodlums. He follows them but is soon beat up. She had been a call girl and she dies giving birth to a fatherless infant. He sheds tears over her death and spreads her ashes in a river.
