After the death of Prince Stephen the Great the throne of the Principality of Moldavia is up for grabs.Two of Prince Stephen's legitimate descendants, Stefan Tomsa and Elisabeta Movila start a bloody civil war of succession in 1612.Elisabeta Movila is the widow of former ruler Ieremia Movila and mother of Constantin Movila who briefly held the throne of Moldavia but was ousted and replaced by Prince Stefan Tomsa.They both have legitimate claims to the throne of Moldavia and this particular succession war seems inevitable.The Stefan Tomsa faction is militarily supported by the Ottoman Turks and by the Tatar Khan Temir Bey.The Movila faction is supported by boyars loyal to the Movila clan and by a few Polish nobles aided by an army of mercenaries.In 1612 the Principality of Moldavia is shattered by war. ---imdb 　　Tudor Şoimaru (Michael Boghi), a soldier in the army of Prince Tomsa (Ion Besoiu), try, along with two friends, to rescue Magda (Ana Ma ria Nicolau), daughter squire Orheianu (Stefan Ciubotarasu) Cossack hetman of hands Vasca, which had been kidnapped.
