本教材主要讲授美容实用英语，使学生掌握美容工作者日常的工作用语；会用英语表达专业的医美服务话术、美容皮肤护理话术及美容保健话术；帮助学生学习并掌握美容护理产品的英语表达方式，并能够用英语对客户进行介绍。培养学生能够熟练地运用美容英语与客户进行沟通和交流，并能够将所学知识灵活运用。
本教材作为现代学徒制美容教材，编写时以培养学生能力为本位，以岗位技能要求为目标，彻底打破原有课程体系，重新构建课程框架。本教材既适用于高职医学美容技术专业，又适用于中职美容美体、中医康复保健专业，也可面向美容导师、美容顾问、高级美容师、技术主管等岗位。
