This lavishly illustrated book documents Paul Strands journeys through Mexico during the years 1932-1934. The photographer's great accomplishments during these years was the body of work "Photographs of Mexico" and the film "Redes" (released as "The Wave" in the United States). In the book a significant part of this remarkable work is juxtaposed with many documents of Strand's time in Mexico during the intense period of the aftermath of the Mexican Revolution.
