《中国农业发展报告2010》是由农业部组织有关司局、科研单位、农业部软科学委员会专家工作组部分成员以及国家统计局农村经济社会统计司的专家、学者和实际工作者共同编写的。该报告立足于新阶段农业和农村经济发展的特点和中国加入世界贸易组织的新形势，以农业和农村经济结构的战略性调整为重点，对2008年我国农业发展的基本状况、农业和农村经济政策的执行情况、农业发展与国民经济的关系进行了全面回顾，并对2010年农业和农村经济发展的趋势进行了预测。
