LARS ELLING (b.1966) was educated at the Bergen National Academy of the Arts (1988-92). He has written and illustrated many award-winning books, including Two by two (1997) and Anna's Art Adventure (1999). Elling's works have been purchased by the Norwegian National Gallery,the EU Commission and Arts Council Norway,and appear in many private collections in Norway and abroad. In 1998 he helped decorate the new University Hospital in Oslo. Elling is represented in the U.S. by the Briggs Robinson Gallery. He lives and works in Oslo.
