进行快速阅读时，应先预览篇章的标题以了解其题材。由于标题通常反映了文章的主旨，因此一旦明确了篇章的主旨，便可有目的地进行阅读。阅读篇章时不要查阅词典，如有生词，应根据上下文对词义进行猜测。培养边阅读、边理解的阅读习惯。读完篇章后即做练习，做练习时，不再翻阅已读过的篇章。严格按规定时间读完篇章，时问一到，应立即停止阅读。
