《外语教学实证研究》是“依托信息技术的同等学力研究生培养模式的探索”课题研究成果之一。该课题围绕北京外国语大学（以下简称“北外”）基于网络平台的英语教育同等学力研究生项目开展，重点探究如何充分应用优选的网络与信息技术来改
革和创新目前的以集中面授为主的同等学力研究生培养模式，探索面授和网络有机结合的教学和人才培养模式，从而提高同等学力研究生培养质量。项目由本人所在的网络教育学院发起，与教育部普通高等学校人文社会科学重点研究基地——中国外语与教育研究中心联合开展。自2015年9月开始招生以来，来自全国各地的数百名学员参加学习并顺利结业，其中50余名学员获得硕士学位，项目为我国基础英语教育事业发展做出了贡献。
