◎简　　介

　　片中的主要人物在30年代的纽约都是闻之令人胆寒的黑帮。邦皮.约翰逊受入狱的黑帮女老大之托，代管赌毒买卖。与别的帮派先是合作，后又火并，直打得血流成河尸横街头。原因是他这个黑道人物有自己的特色，身为黑人，他不以白人的马首是瞻，更不让所谓道规行律束缚自己。所以，以白人舒尔茨为代表的黑道人物也视他为圈内的“不法之徒"。从影片中我们可以看到，邦皮虽然赚的是黑钱，但这些钱很多又回馈社会。人们视他为哈林区仗义疏财的罗宾汉，对社会有贡献的英雄。这位已于1968年去世的着名“暴徒"也许不会想到，今天的电影人会以他的生平来表现一种阳刚之气。
