　　美国国家科学研究所，一名重要的参议院和他的随从被邀请来此参观。他们参观的对象，是数名科学家潜心研究了多年的平行维度机器。该机器可以即时投影地球其他维度的兄弟星球，科学家们希望借此得到国家更多的资金支持。谁知实验过程中发生事故，平行维度机器发生爆炸，在场人员全部失去知觉。当他们相继醒来时，却发现一个凶恶丑陋的怪物在房间内穿梭。参议院大为光火，决定就此离开，难以置信的是实验室竟然跑到了一片原始丛林之中。显而易见，巨大的爆炸将他们带到了平行维度的世界。
　　由于机器损坏，他们暂时无法返回自己的世界，与此同时还要面对来自未知世界的各种威胁……
