　　历经无数次战斗的退伍老兵马克（Cuba Gooding Jr. 小库珀?古丁 饰）及其所率领的佣兵部队从CIA接到一项神秘的任务：美国位于中东的沙巴卡实验室受到地震袭击，与外界通讯完全中断，为了营救被困科学家，他们和CIA委派来的卡德尔博士（Taryn Manning 饰）共同前往事故地点。
