　　维拉自意大利返乡回到罗马尼亚，发现很多事情都不对劲：一具脖子上有勒痕但被声称意外死亡的尸体，村民全天围着尸体喝酒守灵，深怕有任何闪失使它变成吸血鬼。一对老在夜里出没却饿个半死的地主夫妇，吃光喝尽眼前所有的食物还不过瘾，连人的血也要来吸一下。
