◎简　　介

　　本片讲述的是在一九五一年的德克萨斯有一家由以前是牛仔的桑姆开的一家电影院，是许多恋爱人士常去的好地方，他本人也因独特的气质而受到广大青年学生的崇拜，高中生索尼和他的好友裘安就是其中之一。索尼曾谈过恋爱，但最后失败了。一日教练要索尼将他生病的妻子送入医院，二人产生好感，并发生了关系。后来桑姆去逝了，索尼像失去了所有美好的时光，心灵上受到了很大的打击。他同裘安与镇上公认的最美丽的女孩洁西发生了关系，而洁西因此而变得更为大胆，要索尼带着她私奔。裘安知道后很伤心，遂决定参军作战。索尼和洁安分别时看了最后一场电影，也是这个影院放的最后一场电影。
