◎简 介
根据爱伦坡恐怖小说改编，讲述十二世纪帕斯伯亲王（尼格古林饰）笃信邪魔撒旦，为了满足其欲望，以严苛的租税驾驭农夫，逮捕了二个农民领袖吉诺（文森特·普赖斯饰）和范却丝考（哈索·库尔特饰）的父亲以逼迫范自毁良知崇尚邪恶。亲王对范的手机游戏软件下载，引起茱莉安娜（珍妮·亚丝饰）的忌妒，也投向邪恶，但却无法得到帕亲王的欢心，遂帮助范救二位领袖逃走，但仍被捕回。亲王给了他们五把小刀，其中一只有毒，令二人割腕，范父欲刺杀亲王不遂被杀死。吉诺被流放到红死病蔓延的乡间，得到一红衣人相助，返回城堡。而亲王及其它贵族亦传染了红死病身亡，只有范及吉诺幸免遇难。后来才得知，原来红衣人即是死神的使者。
