◎简　　介

　　美国当局为了维护大石油寡头的利益，鼓励资源消费，强制规定卡车司机的时速为55公里/小时（最耗油的时速)。一伙绰号分别叫鸭子、猪圈的几个大卡车司机对此极为不满，无视法律保持经济时速行驶，并在公路上与一个贪腐的警察斗智斗法，卡车司机们的队伍日益壮大，政府动用军警进行镇压，最后当局将鸭子的领头车炸毁在桥上，然而鸭子却奇迹般生还，受到美国民众英雄般的欢呼。这是中国改革开放后引进的第一部美国电影
