◎简　　介

　　月夜行舟，幽谧鬼魅，美国作家克里斯托福（Billy Drago 比利?德拉高 饰）随船行驶于漂着浮尸的河中，去那禁忌小岛寻找他失散的爱人小桃（美知枝 饰）。他曾与小桃约定带她同回美国，然遍寻不见爱人踪影，却从一面容丑陋的妓女（工藤夕贵 饰）处得知小桃已经死亡的噩耗。
　　悲痛欲绝的克里斯托福请求妓女讲述小桃死亡的经过和原因，妓女则将这一切及自己的身世娓娓道来。他不断指出女人叙述中的虚假，一次次重复，逐渐逼近事实真相，也将他和终极恐怖进一步拉近……
