◎简　　介　

　　彼得·加里森（迈克尔·道格拉斯 Michael Douglas 饰）是美国白宫的一名特工以及第一夫人的贴身保镖。20年的特工生涯以及当年为总统挡下一枪的事迹都令他毫无疑问地成为特勤局里的明星。然而彼得万万没有想到的是，有一天他也会成为追捕对象。彼得接到消息说白宫内部混入了纳粹分子，暗杀总统的阴谋在酝酿，但掌握线索的特工查理随后却被残忍杀害。行事干练的特工大卫（基弗·萨瑟兰 Kiefer Sutherland 饰）和新手马琳（艾娃·朗格利亚 Eva Longoria 饰）受命负责此案，并对所有特工一一测谎，然而彼得却未能通过，他与第一夫人的暧昧关系也开始在局里流传，阴差阳错之间，彼得被认为就是那名预谋暗杀者。然而当所有人都竭力追捕彼得之时，真正的杀手正一步步向总统逼近。为了保护总统，逃亡中的彼得唯有说服大卫和马琳共同缉凶，才有可能扭转局面……
